For outreach, anyone who has attended one of these conferences could develop a talk oriented to high school students on the subject of the benefits of plant-based diets versus the problems with animal-based foods, then type up notes for the talk to present to the teacher in charge of health education for the semester. Once the teacher has become comfortable with the content of the talk the students are supposed to attend, one could ask the teacher to have the students write comments on the talk. Teenagers don't hold back!! They'll write what they hated to hear, whether they're skeptical, and what they thought was particularly interesting. A few will write that they've already made great changes in their diets. The students' comments can be used to improve the talk for the next round of classes.
