The first veg. conf. I attended was in 1975 in Orono, ME. I\\\'ve missed only one, been on the NAVS Board of Trustees since 1977. I\\\'ve enjoyed tremendously being part of such an important movement. There is still a great deal of work to be done even though we now have a corner of the supermarket with vegetarian and organic products.
